Our life is inspired by the many people who we treat as the role models and also want to be like them. Some want to be like their parents or some are inspired by their teachers or any political leader. It all depends on the person and their interest. The teacher helps the student to upgrade their qualities and also become a better person. They play a very important role in making a good person. Teachers have to be a very powerful role model as they inspire many lives.
There are some constant characteristics of a powerful role model which creates the positive attitude and also spreads positivity in the environment. These positive role characters are:
- Decision making – While making any decision or choice think once as your decision will not only impacts you but also impacts the little eyes and the ears. The students learn from you about how to tackle a situation and what type of decision has to be made. So be fair and positive while giving any decision.
- Wait and think – If you are in a critical situation then just predicts about the pros and cons before taking any decision. Also let the students know about the situation. Tell them to think like you. Discuss with the students about their decision and also tell them about the pros and cons of any decision. This is the right way for any situation and also the students will get to know about how to tackle the situation.
- Admit the mistakes – No body is perfect I this world. Let the children also understand this fact and also teach them to admit if they did something wrong. If a teacher apologize for his/her mistake then the student will also follow it. Tell them to understand that it’s not the end of the world; rather it is just the beginning.
- Respect – The teacher should respect everyone. If any teacher will use the abusing or wrong words either for the younger/senior person or any worker class, the child will also grab the same. The teacher, our role model, should have to respect everybody and also teach the student to respect each and everyone in this world.
- Follow the commitments – Teach the students to keep their promises and not to cheat others. This is very good habit which a student should have. Tell them to follow their commitments and not to make raw promises.
These are the basic qualities for the good role model. It is not like you having to be a superhuman but these are the good habits which everybody has to follow in their life for the better country.
